2nd India Shopping Centre Forum Awards' 2009 honours top retailers and developers

The 1st day of ISCF 2009 concluded with the India Shopping Centre Forum 2009 awards bestowed on top retailers and developers of the country. A high powered list of the industry players were nominated for the awards and recognized for their contribution to the sector. The ISCF 2009 awards were presented across ten categories. A scintillating performance by singer Raageshwari Lumba enthralled the audience at the awards night held at The Renaissance, Mumbai.

The following received the winning trophy at the 2nd India Shopping Center Forum (ISCF):

1. Most admired shopping centre of the year – Metros: Select CityWalk, Delhi

2. Most admired shopping centre of the year – Mini metros: Treasure Island, Indore

3. Most admired shopping centre of the year – Tier 2: Forum, Bhubaneshwar

4. Most admired shopping centre opening of the year: Inorbit Mall, Vashi

5. Most admired shopping centre design of the year: DLF Emporio, Delhi

6. Most admired shopping centre of the year ‘marketing and consumer promotions.’: Select CityWalk, Delhi

7. Most admired shopping centre of the year ‘socially responsible,’: City Centre, Kolkatta

8. Most admired shopping professional of the year: Neil Raheja, K Raheja Corporation

9. Special honour from Images group for emerging shopping centre of the year: Ambience Mall, Gurgaon

10. Most admired shopping centre developer of the year: Inorbit Mall Pvt Ltd.

Speaking on the occasion, Amitabh Taneja, Chief Covenor, ISCF 09 congratulated the winners for playing a pivotal role in the growth of the shopping centre industry in India and said, “The winners have set industry benchmarks and we are confident that retail in India will witness tremendous growth with their contribution.”
