Brown-Forman Launches Korbel California Champagnes In India, One Of The Fastest-Growing Markets For Champagnes In The World

Korbel California Champagnes were introduced in India to the elegant set in the city for the recently concluded Herald Tribune Luxury Conference at the brand new opulent resort, Aman, New Delhi. Korbel is the number one selling premium méthode champenoise-produced champagnes in America and has been a part of America's greatest celebrations for over 124 years. Dozens of cases of Korbel Champagnes were served on January 20, 2009 at the Inaugural Luncheon for newly elected US President Barack Obama. This marks the 7th Presidential Inauguration in which Korbel has been selected for this prestigious honor. Korbel Russian River Valley Natural Champagnes featuring a commemorative neck label including the Inaugural Seal was served and raised in toasts to the new Obama administration. Korbel were also the champagnes of choice for the Camelot years of the Kennedy administration. Frank Sinatra and Jane Seymour were among other great brand ambassadors for the distinguished product. Korbel is the first Californian or American champagne to be launched in India.
