GUARDIAN goes Cycling Now - Launches Guardian's Great Cycling Holidays

City Based Guardian Holidays pioneers in innovative tours like Guardian Education, Guardian Sports , have launched first of it’s kind national and international Bicycle tours.

Speaking to reporters Mr. Sandeep Joshi and Mr. Manish Sabade Directors Guardian Holidays and Mr. Ulhas Joshi promoter of Guardian’s Great Cycling Holidays and a keen cyclist himself said that they felt there was a tremendous demand for these kinds of holidays as cycling movement was now becoming strong.

Apart from thrill and adventures associated, the cycling holidays will help tourists to explore beautiful parts of the country at their leisure and pace mixing adventure and tourism. “We also hope to create major awareness about the enjoyment of cycling”, he said.

Mr. Sabade informed that Guardian’s Great Cycling Holidays will be launching three tours immediately a 13 night /14day LEH Bicycle tour (July- Sep), A 8 nights/ 9Days Switzerland Cycle tour (Sept- Oct) and a 5Night /6 Day Konkan Cycle Tour (Nov- Feb).

Each of these tours will consist of 35 members, and is open to public in the age group of 12- 70 years. All of these tours will include good Back Up facilities, including Pilot vehicles pick up vehicles, health care facilities, lodging and boarding facilities.

Apart from taking Indians on cycling tour abroad, we also plan to get foreign tourists into the country. “Due to our background in travel business we are in touch with various tourism Boards and they will surely back us, Mr. Sandeep Joshi added.

Mr. Ulhas Joshi who has already done private cycling trips on these routes said, there was a tremendous demand from international travelers for such tours, we also plan to market Wynad (Kerala), Maharashtra Forts Tours and the Konkan Tour for the benefit of international cyclists .

Apart from these tours Guardian Cycle Tours will also launch Monthly cycle trips, and Moonlight Cycle rides in and around Pune, he added.

Mr. Sabade added that “we are also proposing to start a one stop exclusive cycling Mall and also looking at tie ups with top cycle manufacturing companies in India and abroad.

In order to create awareness and promote concept of cycling we are planning to develop collection centers for cycles in various part of the city, so a person can take a cycle in one part of the city and deposit it at these centers incase he does not want to cycle back to the same destination.

Mr. Sabade said, Guardian always believed in promoting innovative concepts and had earlier launched the NASA, Singapore Study tours for Students, Guardian Sports Tourism apart from the regular tours.
