Economist Conferences brings to India its globally known CEO Agenda series

An exclusive gathering of CEOs in three cities (Mumbai, Bangalore and Delhi) is being organised to discuss and debate issues that can help organisations sustain themselves in India in the face of the current global economic slowdown.

This inaugural CEO Agenda series led by Christopher C. Doyle, Country Manager, India; and experts Jan Frederich, Director Global Forecasting, Asia; and Anjalika Bardalai, Senior Economist, with the Economist Intelligence Unit will address the theme of “India – Navigating through the storm”. At the conference, discussions will be held on various challenges faced by CEOs and business leaders in the current business scenario and ways to overcome them. This forum will see corporate czars talking about issues such as global risks affecting business profitability in 2009, and the global economic slowdown and its impact on India.

Leading analysts from The Economist Group, along with other thought leaders, will conduct debates on business, economic and geopolitical factors affecting the corporate environment. The conferences are slated to draw over 30 CEOs and decision makers in each city from leading corporates across India. The CEO Agenda series beginning today in Mumbai is a series of conferences which will be held in Bangalore and Delhi tomorrow and day after, respectively.

The CEO Agenda series is sponsored by Herbert Smith, KPMG (Series sponsors) and Genpact (Delhi Sponsor). The conference is also supported by UTVi Business news and AUSIB.
