BSNL will set up an exclusive Telephone Exchange BSNL @ Estancia at Estancia Integrated Township on GST Road which is being jointly developed by L & T & Arun Excello.
Announcing this at the Press Conference Mr. P. Suresh, Managing Director, L & T Arun Excello Realty Pvt. Ltd. said that the company has signed an MOU with BSNL for setting up the telecom infrastructure at the Estancia Integrated Township. With a view of providing the best facilities to the residents, the company is going all out in establishing the required infrastructure ahead of the residents moving into the township. The school Vidya Mandir @ Estancia will start functioning by June this year. Along with developing the road infrastructure and now the BSNL @ Estancia Exchange are the steps in the direction of providing state of the art facility.
Explaining the details of the MOU, Mr. M. P. Velusamy, CGM, BSNL Chennai Telecom District said that BSNL will be offering Total Telecom Solutions to the apartments, and all the occupants of ‘Project Estancia”. The services will be provided through a state of the art new telephone exchange installed inside the complex.
BSNL would extend copper / optic fiber connectivity with 100% redundancy to all the buildings inside Estancia to deliver its bouquet of services including voice and data services, high speed broadband, centrex facility, mobile services, wi-fi hotspots, MPLS-VPN and Internet lines. New technologies like Mobile-3G, IPTV, Wi-Max, FTTH, etc would also be covered for the benefits of Estancia occupants.
Mr. P. Suresh further said that the BSNL Exchange at Estancia is already ready. As per the MOU, BSNL will give the 1900 residents a deposit free telephone connection with STD facility. BSNL will also supply the required telephone instrument free of cost. The Centrex facility that they will be providing will enable the occupants to contact the security room, the club house and the maintenance office within the township through the intercom without the need of making a local call.
Estancia Integrated Township is coming up on a 82 acre land consisting of Residential Zone with 1900 apartments, a club house, 3 Million Sq. ft. of IT SEZ space, Holiday Inn Estancia Hotel, Mall, Multiplex and the school Vidya Mandir @ Estancia. The site is located at Vallanchery on GST Road (NH-45 Expressway) with easy access to suburban railway stations. Ford, Mahindra World City and Maraimalai Nagar and Oragadam Industrial Estates are within 5 to 15 kms from the project. SRM University and SRM Medical College and Hospital are located adjacent to the project. Chennai Airport is only 19 kms away, with an easy access.
