General Motors India today announced that the Chevrolet Spark has recorded 3 million loyal customers globally, attesting to its rising popularity amongst car lovers across a wide spectrum of countries worldwide.
GM India’s best-selling model, the Chevrolet Spark had also won the prestigious J.D. Power Initial Quality Study (IQS) Award for two consecutive years – 2007 and 2008 – for its topnotch quality features and its best-in-class fuel economy. These awards reiterate the fact that customers across different continents trust the Chevrolet Spark for its multiple features, including safety and fuel efficiency.
To celebrate the milestone, General Motors India has announced mega schemes this month. The limited offers across its carlines include: Rs55,000 on the Chevrolet Spark, Rs28,000 on the Chevrolet Tavera, Rs50,000 on the Chevrolet Aveo, Rs 30,000 on the Chevrolet Aveo U-VA and Rs70,000 on the Chevrolet Optra Magnum.
Speaking on the Chevrolet Spark’s rousing global performance, Mr P. Balendran, Vice President, GM India said, “The Spark is a hit globally, and it is one of GM India’s bestselling cars in the country. And the growing popularity of our Spark testifies that more and more customers have been reassured by the quality, economy and performance of this best-selling car. GM India manufactures the Chevrolet Optra Magnum, Chevrolet Aveo, Chevrolet SRV, Chevrolet Aveo U-VA, Chevrolet Spark, Chevrolet Tavera and Chevrolet Captiva for the Indian market.
