Crown Relocations, a worldwide leader of global mobility, domestic and international transportation of household goods, and departure and destination services announced that Norah Franchetti, its vice president of Learning and Development will present "Being a Woman in a Flat and Shrinking World," at FAWCO's thirty-ninth biennial conference in Lithuania.

Having worked in some 55 countries, my topic this year is about the impact on women when borders are coming down. Is the glass ceiling disappearing or is it being rebuilt with different materials? In this presentation we'll look at how the world is changing for women."

Her topic will explore the changes for women as the world becomes smaller and flatter, how globalization affects women who travel for business and work in different countries, their experience with new cultures and religions, and how it has changed.

The conference, titled "Open Doors to New Horizons," is scheduled to begin March 18, in Vilnius, and will end March 22. Events will be held at the four-star Reval Hotel and the agenda includes workshops, general sessions, a gala dinner and a city tour.

FAWCO is an international network with a combined membership of nearly 18,000.
